Sayonara Torino was one of my biggest projects, both in terms of the amount of work involved and the longevity of our collaboration, which lasted six years (2018–2024).
Sayonara is a weekly hip hop/urban event that boasts collaborations with
Noisey, Havana, Hannibal Store, Prime Milano, and has hosted numerous prominent artists and DJs.
I was responsible for the visual identity, the creation of social media content, videos, and graphics (more than 300 pieces of content over the years), the video animations for the LED walls present at all events, and the official merchandising.
Sayonara
Visual Design.
This project required much more than just creating a normal visual identity. Once the brand identity had been defined, I had to convey the image and messages through the visuals of the posters, social media posts, and videos, including the animations created for the LED walls, all of which I took care of myself. I had the opportunity to experiment a lot with new techniques and tools.
The Geisha House
For the 2023/2024 season, the theme is “The Geisha House,” so communication will focus on the world of manga, with a futuristic geisha, used as the mascot for the communication and visual line.
Even the club turns red.
The club is also set up following the brand identity guidelines. The atmosphere, colors, LED lettering, and 3D animations on the LED walls consistently showcase what has been studied and created over the years. This is a visual identity that evolves year after year, which is why it is so mature and recognizable.
